God is providing for His kids
The orphanage in Kendu Bay supports 68 orphans + staff + 2 babies and 5 destitute widows living nearby. The orphanage is named Bartholomew Children’s Family in Kendu Bay Kenya, by Lake Victoria!
It is directed by Bishop Washington Ayugi (pronounced eye-you-gee). This is the gentleman who began to bring orphans into his home many years ago to give them a safe place to grow and thrive.

Great things are happening for the kids living at Bartholomew Children’s Family in Kendu Bay Kenya!
#1 – Better meals are being provided for the children as we enrich their diets with protein on a regular basis.
#2 – Staff is being better trained to become better managers and overseers, better bookkeepers and some will become better seamstresses as plans are developed to teach all girls in the home over 9 years old how to sew.
#3 – In December, we just completed building a roof over the building which is an extension to the convenience store attached to the gas station,
#4 — We plan on opening the ‘for-profit’ gas station in January 2023 where the profits go to support the orphans.
#5 – In December 2022 new methods were introduced to get the “highest and best” use from Jehovah Jireh Farms, which is the land donated by one of the Directors of the orphanage. Over 15 tons of compost is being developed within 18 days using best practices copied from Indonesia. With proper compost and regular water the yields of the vegetables grown on the farm are expected to increase by 5 to 8 times former production.
#6 – Starting in November 2022, water is being delivered from Lake Victoria to the Jehovah Jireh Farm using the tuc tuc and water tank purchased near the beginning of that month. (Pictured Below)
