1. Farm Update and Growing Hope
The farm is thriving this season, and we’re excited to share some good news! The maize is growing strong, the beans are flourishing, and the sukuma wiki is coming along as well. The children have been helping with weeding during their school break, and we’ll include pictures of them hard at work in the garden. It’s a joy to see their involvement and the pride they take in caring for the plants and the sheep. We’re hopeful for a bountiful harvest that will enhance the children’s diets with fresh, nutritious food grown right on the property.
2. Mission Trip & Ways to Support
We’re looking ahead to the upcoming mission trip in July! Betty Bartholomew and Avis Goodhart will be traveling to Kenya, and we invite anyone interested in joining to reach out—we’d love to talk with you about how you can be a part of this meaningful journey. Please check out our two Amazon Wish Lists filled with needed items, for a direct impact! We have two so items can ship directly to either Betty or Avis, for them to pack into their luggage for Kenya, and we may continue to add to these as the trip grows nearer.

3. Fire Extinguisher Installation
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we were able to purchase and install fire extinguishers across the property! This not only helps us stay up to code, but also gives us greater peace of mind knowing we have essential safety measures in place. Please see the following pictures!
4. Rainy Season Blessings
The rainy season continues, and it’s been a tremendous blessing. Our water tanks are still full, providing clean water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. The pond is also at about 3/4 full, adding to our reserve and supporting the needs of the home. We’re so thankful for the infrastructure improvements made in recent months that allow us to make the most of this vital resource!
5. Loving our Neighbors
We’d like to express our joy in seeing our kids sharing love with neighbors during the April school break (they had about 3 weeks off). During this time, they helped build a home for a widow in the community.
WOW! Wonderful to see them blessing others.
